One way to start this process is to recruit one or two others in your workplace to put forward the proposal. Another is to send in the forms needed to get your city government to endorse International Plain Language Day.
The research and paperwork to do this can take time, so we ask you to start now to get your organization to mark the day. You will enjoy the work and the result!
Remember, International Plain Language Day–October 13, 2012—belongs to all of us and we can each do something to make it a success. Getting involved earlier is better.
